Sundarban the famous tourist place in West Bengal

Sundarban is the famous tourist place in West Bengal. The Sundarban is well known for the mangrove forest and Royal Bengal Tiger. The forest covers 10,000km of which about 6000 in Bangladesh. The name of Sundarban may have been from the Sundari trees. These trees are found in large numbers in Sundarban. In 1997 it became inscribed as a UNESCO world heritage.

The Sundarban forest lies in the vast delta on the Bay of Bengal. The area is known for the Royal Bengal Tiger, large Mammals and Indian other etc.

The Estuarine Crocodile and Indian Python are seen there. Goverment has no paid much attention to make to protect the nature. So come forward and save our world heritage Sundarban together.
