Lotus Temple - New Delhi

Lotus Temple - New Delhi: It's a Baha’i House of Worship. Like all other Baha’i Houses, the Lotus Temple is open to all, regardless of religion every people may pray to God here. This building has a unique design with sprawling lawns and 9 large pools. 

The temple shapes like a huge lotus flower having twenty seven petals made of white concrete and Greek marble arranged in clusters of three to form nine sides.

All the nine doors of the temple are closed on Mondays for visitors. It took seven years (1980-1986) for the completion of this architectural beauty.

This magnificent structure symbolizes oneness and unit.
