The gigantic chariot with its twelve pairs of metaphorical wheels and seven horses is an eternal indication of the artistic sensibilities of the eternal race of life.

There is a museum having rare collection of sculptures from the ruins of this temple, opened from 9 AM to 5 PM. As a scenic spot, Konarak is very famous for the wide spread sand dunes and the palm casuarinas plantations. So, Konark deserve a visit for its nice beach also.
